BEST GOLDEN TURMERIC LATTE
Believe me once I tell you that this Golden Turmeric Latte is well well worth the potential yellow-stained surfaces that you simply might get after accidentally knocking over the jar of turmeric spice everywhere the counter top.
Whoops! Hopefully you’re almost as spatially challenged as i'm within the kitchen life.
For what it’s worth – a touch little bit of bicarbonate of soda and water mixed together helps to get rid of turmeric stains sort of a charm. I’ve also heard lemon helps too but I’ve yet to undertake that out. I’m sure I’ll find many opportunity to check that one call at due time.
At any rate, this is often worthwhile . no doubt . Especially considering all of the crazy healthiness benefits you'll get from turmeric: it’s naturally anti-inflammatory, promotes brain and heart health, increases antioxidants throughout out the body and may help prevent cancer.
On a more personal note, I’m totally hospitable the very fact that this could be consequence but it does appear to be Mike’s arthritis flare ups are always more in restraint when he’s regularly consuming turmeric in a method or another. I’d let my hands stain yellow permanently from handling all the turmeric if that meant it might help keep Mike fit and fighting without all the flareups.
HOW TO MAKE : GOLDEN TURMERIC LATTE
No fancy coffeehouse equipment needed to make these golden turmeric lattes – just your run-of-the-mill coffee pot (or whatever you use to make coffee) and unspecified blender. When your coffee is all ready to go it’s just a matter of throwing everything in your blender and blitzing it all directly for a few of seconds until it’s nice and frothy for that foamy milk finish every good latte needs. Easy !!
If you’re not much of a coffee person you'll always sub out the coffee for more milk. I do recommend employing a fuller fat coconut milk here because it helps increase the absorption of the active compound in turmeric. On another note, it’s also getting to bring a way creamier overall texture. Of course, you'll always use another sort of milk if you favor – you'll always add during a tablespoon of copra oil for the absorption. If you’ve never had copra oil in your coffee before you would possibly also wish to know that it makes your lips SO SOFT. It’s honestly worthwhile for that fact alone.
Since we’re using ground spices here – which will settle and collect down at rock bottom of your mug. I usually just leave those bits behind, but if you don’t like that then you'll always pour your latte through a strainer before enjoying to urge obviate those extra bits.
All in all it’s a very simple recipe that adds only an additional minute or two onto your normal morning coffee routine. It’s perfect for those mornings once you just want something a touch different or you’re trying to find a touch extra health kick.
I hope you enjoy it the maximum amount as we do – let me know if you are trying it out!
