BEST GOLDEN MILK FRAPPUCCINO – PALEO & VEGAN

Best Golden Milk Frappuccino – a healthy, naturally sweetened frappe with anti-inflammatory benefits

Quick note for anyone coming from Pinterest: once I was making the pinterest graphic to travel along side this post I completely blanked and listed this as being a FODMAP friendly drink.
Dates are never low FODMAP and coconut can be trouble too so this isn’t suitable for anyone wanting to follow a coffee FOMDAP diet. I’ve updated the pinterest graphic to get rid of the low FODMAP wording, but I can’t do anything about the one that’s circulating around Pinterest. Very sorry about that! If you'd wish to make this more FODMAP friendly you'll replace the coconut milk with one among your choosing and use 1-2 tablespoons syrup to sweeten your drink.

Move over Unicorn Frappuccino – there’s a replacement non caffeinated frappe in town.

Now that the summer is slowly creeping in my M.O. is essentially to eat and drink all the frozen things from now until when the pumpkin spice lattes start rolling in. We’ve got a really short window of opportunity for sun here in our little a part of the would so I’ve need to confirm I fit it beat once I can.

Starting with this sweet, light, creamy, frothy perfection that's the golden milk frappuccino. Join me!
All you would like is about 5 minutes & an honest blender to form this frappe. Since there’s no coffee you don’t got to await anything to brew or calm down .

This is made from your essential star ingredients:

Turmeric
Coconut Milk (or another milk of your choice)|
Dates
Ginger
Cinnamon
& Black Pepper (it helps enhance the bioavailability of the anti-inflammatory components in turmeric)

Just blend together until the dates and turmeric are fully blended then add within the ice. Once you’ve reach your required consistency top it off with a touch dollop of coconut whip cream and a touch of cinnamon.

Total decadence, my friends.

Enjoy this within the morning on a hot day or end your night with a touch frosty indulgence. Since there’s no caffeine found here you don’t got to worry about bouncing off the walls during the night. And hey! If it’s too cold for this you'll always make a hot version instead.

No matter what it’s a win!

INGREDIENTS

4 dates, seeds removed and chopped into small pieces
1 inch | 1 tablespoon fresh turmeric, peeled and chopped into small pieces
1 cup |250 ml coconut milk or another milk of your choice
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon + more for topping
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
coconut topping for topping optional
1 - 1 1/2 cup ice

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Add the dates, turmeric, coconut milk, cinnamon, and black pepper to a blender and blend on a high speed until the dates and therefore the turmeric are fully blended.

2. Add the ice to the blender and blend until icy & smooth. Top with coconut topping and cinnamon and enjoy!
